AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy)  is an internationally- recognized and widely respected, research-supported modality that focuses on human beings innate capacity for healing. It is a type of psychodynamic therapy that combines affective neuroscience, attachment theory, somatic experiencing and parts work.

Clients often remark that therapy with me is notably different from previous therapy relationships or that they find that they are "getting to the real issues." I believe that this is partly because therapy with me is not just about talking, but experiencing.  In our sessions, you will not only be using words, you will be encouraged to pause and notice your body's reactions and responses as you share not only your pain, but your delight and joy. This work can effectively treat trauma, depression, negative thoughts and anxiety.  It also enhances self-compassion, self-esteem and well-being.

While this therapy modality is sophisticated and takes years of in-depth training, you won't experience it as cold or clinical.  In fact, AEDP therapy tends to speak straight to the heart of matters with incredible simplicity.  Clients share that over time, they notice themselves responding with more freedom and agency in their lives, feeling more whole and in touch with themselves and the world.   You will begin to move through your life with more purpose and intention, maybe even with an increased sense of what matters to you.   You can find more information about AEDP here.
